Hotel Doge

Breakfast was delicious, with lots of kinds of cakes. I didn't get to try dinner, though I expect it's good too. The coffee seemed different in the morning and evening: morning coffee felt more stimulating, while the evening one focused more on aroma. The staff were excellent, and the rooms and pool were clean, even under the beds. With so many pines around, keeping the pool clean must be difficult, but they did it really well. The hotel is near the city centre. Rooms have balconies with one or two chairs and a table, plus big mirrors in both the room and bathroom. A few small things could be fixed: the bathroom light takes a while to turn on, the balcony sliding-door handle is loose, and the small dark curtain doesn't give enough privacy in the evening when the light is on, but only in rooms facing the pool.

I stayed for over two weeks, once in late June and again in late July, and have nothing but good things to say. The staff are so kind, the food is outstanding, and the rooms are really clean and comfortable. There's also one of the biggest pools in MiMa, and you can have lunch and dinner on the outdoor terrace.

The food was fantastic, both at breakfast and at lunch and dinner, which felt like meals from a 5-star restaurant. Hotel Doge is small, quiet, and cozy, with balconies and individual A/C in the rooms. The surroundings are lovely, with plenty of shade, plants, and trees. The staff were very helpful and did their best to make us happy. We had a great time.

The staff were great and friendly, and the place was clean and well located.
