It's a small, quiet hotel, and I had a great week there. The place was just right for recharging before getting back to my usual routine. My room and bathroom were consistently clean, the food was excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

By the next morning, even my clothes smelled musty. The bedroom overlooking the pool had such a strong stale odor that I've never encountered anything like it in all my years of traveling. A room in that condition shouldn't be given to anyone. It was late and I was exhausted, so changing hotels wasn't an option. I can't recommend it.

We stayed for two nights, and the hotel itself seemed peaceful, but nearby vacation homes had lots of young people making plenty of noise. It might do for a quick escape, but no longer. The food was decent. The beds, though, were uncomfortable, with springs pressing into your back.

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, welcoming hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful, and Claudia was especially kind. The menu was exceptional and had something different each time. We'll be back.
