Hotel Orchidea

A lovely seafront hotel, and the staff are amazing.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, though the staff served it on site and I would have preferred to serve myself. They must have had their reasons for doing it that way. The staff were friendly, and the property was beautiful, clean, and tidy, with comfortable rooms. The side sea view is very limited, and the balcony is very small, but manageable. I recommend it anyway!

The food was the most delightful surprise: each day there were three first courses and three second courses, with meat and fish, plus a vegetarian or vegan option. The dishes were high-quality and refined, the desserts delicious, and the fruit always fresh. The buffet was generous, varied, and changed daily. Breakfast was worth a special mention too, with staff serving a rich buffet of pastries, homemade cakes, savory items, and more. Our room was cleaned carefully and on time. The whole property felt elegant, well-kept, and welcoming, with refined furnishings in both the rooms and common areas. The staff were a real strength, kind and helpful at reception and thoughtful and attentive in the dining room. My family and I stayed here for the first time, and everything was impeccable. A pleasant stay in every way, with elegance, good food, and great care for guests. We’ll definitely be back ❤️

We spent four days on a half-board plan, and it was a real treat. Breakfast, appetizers, vegetables, and desserts were served buffet-style, with the food replenished several times during each meal. The cappuccinos and coffees were made at the bar, which is no small detail. The pastries and first courses were especially high quality.
