The hotel has a pool, hydro, and sauna, which are great after a day of skiing. It’s also a good base for hiking or mountain biking in summer. The staff are super nice, and the hotel sits in the middle of the mountains. In winter, if there’s snow, you can’t drive all the way there: you have to park in Cesana, and they pick you up by snowmobile.

One star for the restaurant service. We arrived at 2 and waited in a long queue for 20 minutes. When we finally got to order, they asked for our table number, but we didn’t have one. The guy at the bar said we couldn’t order without it, then turned to the next customer 🙈 We had to borrow the number from the table beside us to get food 😃 The food was average.

It’s a functioning hotel, but the fire system doesn’t seem well looked after. Several manual fire alarm covers are broken, and the firehose covers are broken too. It’s Christmas all the time there, even in summer.

Really good restaurant and great service. The plin (raviolis) with mushrooms and chestnuts were amazing, as was the stewed deer.
