Albergo Antonietta

The vintage furniture gives the place an old-fashioned feel, but we slept well and the rooms were very clean. The bathrooms are new. Breakfast could be a lot better, and there wasn't a TV in the room.

The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, with coffee, cappuccino, fresh cake, and biscuits. For the very reasonable rate compared with other hotels, I think it deserves five stars. We only stayed one night, and everything went well. The antique furnishings make it feel like stepping into a hotel from a hundred years ago, which I actually liked. The place is well looked after and modernized, with new air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a bathroom that isn't recently renovated but worked very well. The doors could use some improvement.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. The rooms were clean and neat, and the villa has great views and charming balconies that fill the rooms with natural light. It's only steps from the sea, with shops and restaurants close by, including a handy Despar supermarket. Vito, the manager, is available if you need anything, and Beba is very kind and helpful with requests. The partner beach resorts are Bagni Genova, and their prices are very fair.

Breakfast isn't included, but Vito and his lovely colleague at reception, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, offer coffee, cappuccino, and a few pastries. The hotel changed hands a few months ago and feels like stepping back into another era. The rooms have furnishings that might not suit everyone, but they're spacious and welcoming, with sheets and high-quality cotton towels. There's both a fan and air conditioning, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The location is convenient. We've stayed more than once and I'll definitely be back. See you next time!
