Hotel La Parigina

The best things were the location, about a 5-8 minute walk from the sea, the friendly staff, the lovely terrace, and the microwave and fridge/freezer available for everyone. We stayed 12 nights in August, three of us with our 2-year-old. The website made us think there was a restaurant, so we expected to have the option of eating at the hotel. There was no lunch or dinner service. Given what we needed, I honestly would have picked a 2-star hotel with a restaurant instead. After 1:04 AM the outside lights go off, and there’s no sensor to switch them on when needed, so we had to use our phones for light. The walls are thin enough that we heard everything in the neighboring rooms, and early in the morning they probably heard my son too. I thought the sheets would be changed halfway through our 12-night stay, but they weren’t. In summer, with sand and heat, that wasn’t ideal. It’s a good choice for people with simple needs who want an affordable place.

A lovely find for a weekend by the sea. The rooms are simple, but they were always clean and tidy, and breakfast had a good selection of sweet and savory options. There’s parking inside the property. The staff were all kind and ready to help with any request.

The owners were very kind and helpful, and the hotel is only a five-minute walk from the sea. I came back last weekend after five years and still found it to be excellent value, among the best in Cesenatico/Gatteo in my opinion. The rooms are spacious, with a terrace, and are cleaned with fresh towels every day. Breakfast is included and has a good mix of sweet and savory choices. Car and bicycle parking are included too.

The owners made us feel so welcome, and were kind, discreet, and ready to help with anything. We had three relaxing days here. Our room was comfortable and cozy, with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a large, comfortable shower. Breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. I'd gladly come back. Thanks for everything.
