Hotel Villa Orlandi

We called in June to book our summer stay, but nobody picked up. When we eventually got to Villamarina, we drove past the place and felt heartbroken seeing it deserted and closed. I’ve had some wonderful summers here, so it’s really sad to find it like this. I hope they’re back soon. What a shame.

Rita looked after us in the dining room, and our little four-legged friend was happy too. There’s also a lovely pool for guests. It’s a small family hotel in a central spot, with a warm welcome and a breakfast that went well beyond what we expected: all kinds of cakes, croissants and doughnuts, plus lactose-free and plant-based milk and freshly ground coffee. Those thoughtful extras made it feel like a 3-4 star breakfast. Definitely recommend it.

Elisa, the owner, made us feel at home straight away, and the staff and waiters were all really kind and helpful. The food was good with plenty of variety, and the clean, well-kept place has a refreshing pool with loungers and umbrellas. There are free bikes, a bouncy castle for the little ones, and a very sweet, talented entertainer for the kids and teenagers in the evening. It was relaxing, and we could let the children roam around freely. The location is handy for Mirabilandia, Mirabeach, Acquafan, Safari, and the Cattolica Aquarium. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

We stayed for 11 days and had a great time. The hotel feels welcoming, and Elisa was always friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. The food was excellent and varied, breakfast included, and the waiters were lovely. We also enjoyed the pool. You’re just steps from the sea and the main pedestrian streets, with their lights and traditional shops. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like this one deserved it. Highly recommend!
