Hotel Week-End

Vincenzo and Bruno make you feel welcome at this family-run place. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable, and the food is delicious. Thanks to everyone on staff. We’ll definitely come back.

We came hoping for three relaxing days at the beach with our daughter, but left the property after barely one day. On the phone we’d been told the room would work for a family, so we at least expected it to be reasonably clean. We weren’t looking for luxury, and knew the building was old and hadn’t been renovated. From when we got the key until the next day, nobody cleaned the room apart from emptying the bins. There was dust and hair everywhere, including clumps under the bed and dust on the headboard. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling down to the bed. Even after repeated calls and complaints, the bathroom still had dirt left by previous guests. Sorry to be blunt, but there was toothpaste spat on the sink and tap, and the bidet was dirty too. I’ll leave it there.

The location worked well for both the beach and the town center, and we tried several rooms. Each one was bigger than the last and very clean. The Capone family and bartender Francesco gave us a wonderful stay, with a warm welcome and a real effort to make us feel at home. We ate plenty, with lots to choose from, and the dishes were delicate and full of flavor. We had such a lovely time that we’ll be back!
