We were five, and the bedroom was really too small for us. The hygiene was generally good, and I liked most of the food, which was quite tasty. The staff weren't very warm, apart from Tommaso, the waiter, and the first-floor cleaning woman. In the end, the stay went reasonably well.

The beach was sandy, the water shallow and good for children, and the price included beach service with an umbrella and two loungers. You could also ride the hotel bikes to Porto Canale. The hotel is in a quiet location about three minutes from the sea, with four floors and an elevator. Rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. There’s a large dining room with buffet appetizers, plus a daily menu of fish and traditional Romagna dishes. Parking is available inside the hotel, though it’s uncovered. It’s a family-run place with kind, professional staff. Even though I was delayed, they kindly waited for me and let me have lunch. Highly recommended. August is the best time to visit.

What keeps bringing us back to Hotel Rondinella is how welcoming and dependable everyone is. The family who runs it are generous, attentive, and always ready to help, and the day and night staff look after both guests and the property. It feels safe and peaceful, just right for a carefree holiday. We’ve stayed with our family for three years running. Last year and this year we came twice, in May for the Spartan Races and again in July for a holiday. Our first two stays were just as pleasing as the next, and even when we came as a group of seven, everything worked out perfectly. I’m glad to finally write this review, and we’ll see you next year. I highly recommend it.

The rooms were clean and a decent size, with air conditioning and a little fridge, and the hotel is close to the sea while tucked away from traffic and crowds. There’s a pharmacy, tobacconist, and several restaurants nearby. We were four, including two small children, and the staff were patient and helpful with everyone’s needs, including food intolerances and allergies. This felt like a classic family-run place in Romagna, with a natural, easygoing approach to the daily service and restaurant. Some of the food even reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. We had a wonderful short break, and it seemed suitable for younger and older couples too. Highly recommended.
