A basic but spacious house with a little garden. Be ready for quite a lot of stairs.

The room was clean, cool, and well equipped, and the steps weren’t too difficult. The apartment owners are good people. The problem was their German Shepherd, who barked whenever he heard a sound, at all hours, including at night and early in the morning. That constant barking didn’t seem normal. I have nothing against dogs or animals, I have three myself, but barking at the thought of someone walking past or at someone smoking on the terrace isn’t okay. The dog’s owner verbally attacked us, much like the dog did.

The owners were kind and helpful, and the garden would make this a lovely summer choice. Getting there from the road means climbing either around 50 or 90 steps, though that’s Cetara. It’s a bit cold in winter because the heat pump is only in the bedroom. If you’re bringing a pet, let them know, and check on parking deals in the upper town beforehand.

The apartment is high up, with 70 outdoor steps to climb. After agreeing to a 10% discount on the Booking rate, the owner then asked us to pay for electricity. We also paid 12 euros a day for a garage. The money was given to him to pass on to the owner, but he kept it as commission instead.
