We got caught arriving early in the rain, and the owners were really kind about accommodating us. The rooms are basic but clean, and the location is right in the center. In summer, though, the mosquitoes seem to be everywhere and there are no window screens, so you end up choosing between keeping the windows shut in the heat or getting bitten.

⚠️ Beware if you came across this hotel through the Worldpackers volunteer platform. The account is fake. ⚠️ The place behind the “Hotel Dufour” Worldpackers account is Hotel Millefiori in Valtournenche, a shady business that uses travel platforms to get free labor. I know because I fell for the same trap through Workaway three years ago. They were later banned from that platform. Don't believe what they tell you.

The town is full of little shops and lovely places to explore, and this is the gateway to Cervinia. We found the place warm and cozy, with clean rooms and friendly staff. One of the best places to stay around here.

You get a great view from most of the windows. It's basic accommodation in a handy spot, and the price is modest.

It has a lovely, family-like atmosphere, and it's very clean. The location's great too, and it's economical.
