B&B Terre Aromatiche

This is such a great place to stay. The family is super nice, and breakfast is amazing. I recommend booking ski or guiding lessons with Stefano, the B&B owner. Lucia, his mom, is so welcoming, and her homemade cakes are amazing too. I’d also recommend the homemade honey and jams.

The mountain scenery is superb, the weather was mostly good, and the food was excellent. My hosts were so kind and made me feel like a family friend. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you enjoy mountain landscapes and don’t mind lots of hills. Highly recommended. I didn’t want to leave. The view from my ground-floor room wasn’t the best, but that’s understandable. The larger rooms upstairs had magnificent mountain views.

We visited in summer and found lots of great hiking trails, plus great cycling. In winter, it’s good for skiing and very close to the ski resort. The scenery is stunning, the people are lovely, and the food is amazing. This is a great B&B, modern and comfortable while keeping its wood and stone roots. The hosts are really nice and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. I highly recommend it.

We’d love to come back sometime. The village is charming, the views are fabulous, and the house has been beautifully renovated and is very comfortable. We stayed at this wonderful B&B in Chiesa in Valmenco for four days in November. The Nani family were so welcoming, and Lucia’s Italian cooking and baking were terrific.
