We had a horrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The guy never showed up himself and just sent someone else to deal with us. He wanted cash, but we didn’t have enough, so we asked to pay by credit card or bank transfer. Then he tried to add 20 euros per night. That felt like a fraud. Probably the worst host I’ve ever had. We’re tourists and are out most of the time. He said, “I’ll be there to collect the cash at 3:00 pm.” We couldn’t be there because we’d booked a tour, so we had to leave the money in our room for his employee to come in and collect while we were away. In his reply, it’s clear to me the host doesn’t know how to handle customers. You’ve been warned. Other reviews describe experiences that match mine.

There are a few restaurants nearby, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the Vatican. I was very happy with my few days there!

The host was attentive, warm, and thoughtful. We had a wonderful, though short, stay as a couple in a spacious, comfortable room. The location is perfect, central, and just a two-minute walk from the subway. There’s also outdoor space for lunch or dinner in the fresh air.

Angelica was so kind and showed us where to shop and eat, as well as how to get around by metro and bus. The rooms were clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the terrace was lovely and comfortable. Flavio answered all our questions before we travelled and suggested a fantastic airport transfer service that was really helpful. We had an amazing trip. Thanks so much for everything!
