BB La Bella Addormentata

It's a family-run B&B with spacious, clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, and everything well organized. The property sits on a hill overlooking Chieti. Breakfast is self-service, and actually pretty decent. It feels like being at home, and the price is reasonable.

The owner was helpful, and breakfast was good. This B&B has a scenic position near the Pescara ovest highway exit. There was no air conditioning, so in summer we'd have needed to keep the windows open, but that wasn't possible with dogs barking through the night, including right outside the apartment windows. The dividing wall with the other room was very thin, so we heard all the noise. One of the mattresses was only suitable for children, since an adult sinks into it.

The setting is divine, with views of the Gran Sasso and Chieti, and the service was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very good too, though the chocolate spread was missing. I would've given it five stars if there'd been a TV in the room ;) We stopped here on the way back from Salento, and it's very convenient off the highway. I wouldn't suggest it for anyone with a caravan or trailer because the slope is steep. I'll definitely come back!!! Giulio

The winding road up to the B&B is steep, and the place is quite remote. Breakfast was minimal, and the price, while not excessive, didn't match the amenities. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for students or anyone without a car. The room was clean, but small, with no TV and, more importantly, no air conditioning. It was very hot, hilltop location or not, so we tried sleeping with the window cracked open. There are no screens, and the room filled with mosquitoes. We barely slept. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy.
