Hotel Sole is a simple, pleasant place with a friendly feel, and the price makes the stay worthwhile. The staff are welcoming and breakfast is good, but it’s not a luxury hotel, so come expecting something comfortable and straightforward. You’re right by the sea, with restaurants, shops, and the center of Sottomarina all within walking distance. One thing to know is that the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, despite listings on Booking.com and other sites. They can offer two nearby parking options, both paid, usually about €10-15 a day.

Breakfast was fresh and had plenty of variety, from eggs, fruit, and pastries to regional Italian foods. The housekeeping team did a great job, and reception were always willing to help with things like transport, the room, or dinner reservations. It was our first trip to Italy, and the Hotel Sole team helped us fall in love with the country. A big thank you to everyone there. You’re wonderful, and we’ll definitely come back! We were so happy with our stay at Sole. The team were sweet and welcoming, breakfast was tasty with a sea view, and the pool was comfortable. The location is great, very close to the sea. We hope to come back.

The bathroom could use an update. It was clean, but felt quite old-fashioned. That didn’t change my overall view of the hotel, though. We had a relaxing six-night stay at Hotel Sole, and would highly recommend it if you’re after somewhere peaceful in a beautiful setting. We’ll return. The room was spotless, and the cleaning staff were both friendly and thorough. Everyone at the hotel was kind, professional, helpful, and greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was delicious, with something for everyone. We had our own loungers and parasol for the whole stay on the hotel’s private beach. The hotel is also close to the pool, shops, bus stops, restaurants, and pubs, and Sottomarina and Chioggia are a 30-40 minute walk away.

It’s handy for visiting Chioggia, with buses leaving from beside the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast suited Scandinavian tastes too, with fresh fruit and vegetables. The hotel is close to the beach. Rooms are small but clean, and some have sea views.
