The food seemed a bit hard to judge since we only tried two starters, though both were good, especially the asparagus and guanciale risotto. The menu and setting are worth another visit, and we'll be back. It's a well-kept place with a beautiful lake view, and the staff were kind and very helpful.

The restaurant service was good, and the food was excellent and homemade. Breakfast was enough for us, though it isn't an international buffet and might not suit special needs. I stayed for New Year's Eve and thought the price was fair for three days for two, about €100 a day. I'd return. The hotel is basically a farmhouse and is generally well maintained, with antique but functional furniture. I didn't find it dirty, but there are issues: the heating doesn't work, some TVs are broken, especially in room 27, and the windows let in drafts. The location can be tricky if you don't know the area. The signs for the Fattoria are close to the property, so after leaving the A1 (Chiusi), follow the signs for Lake Chiusi. It's a nice place to unwind and take in the surroundings.

The rustic interior was lovely, and the gentleman serving us was incredibly kind. Our pici with Tuscan ragù and asparagus and guanciale risotto were delicious and generously portioned. We also had sliced Chianina beef with shaved parmesan and arugula, plus potatoes with parsley. Wine and fruit were included, and the price was fair. A highly recommended spot, right in the Tuscan countryside. Before reaching Chiusi, turn left and follow the road to the lake. After three or four kilometers, take the path on the left to a big clearing. The Albergo Ristorante is there, surrounded by leaves.

A terrible experience, and one I absolutely wouldn't repeat. The man who welcomed us had one tooth and a shirt covered in stains. The bathrooms, tablecloths, and general atmosphere were all below par, and there was an unpleasant smell as soon as you walked in. The food wasn't worth it either, you can find much better for the same price.
