Bibli Rooms Guesthouse

It’s on a fairly quiet street, with several bars, coffee bars and places to eat nearby. Piazza Maggiore and the Quadrilatero are a quick walk away, and Bologna Centrale Station takes about 15-20 minutes on foot. My balcony room had lots of flowers and a great view. Check-in was friendly and easy, and the spacious, functional room was clean and comfortable. Water, coffee, tea and pastries were supplied and refreshed daily.

The only thing I’d change is the bathroom ledge. It slanted, so it was awkward to set toiletries on. We enjoyed the stay and would gladly return. Our room had a lovely balcony, though we only stayed one night and didn’t get to use it. The shower had hot water, and the firm, supportive bed and pillows were comfortable. We each had two pillows. There was a breakfast corner with Nespresso and packaged snacks, replenished each morning. The Italian owner was warm and let us leave our luggage at 11am. Jen helped us translate, and she and her cleaning company, which had started managing cleaning for Biblio a few months earlier, did a phenomenal job. The place was spotless. Fabiola spoke fluent English and was readily available on WhatsApp to coordinate our stay.

The hotel is a set of rooms on the third floor of a residential building, on a quiet but central street. It’s a cute place and worked well for a clean, private stay without attendants. The front desk was very helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. The room was nicely equipped with water, espresso and some morning snacks, plus coupons for a few free things around town.

The bed was too firm for me to sleep comfortably. The room itself was super clean, with complimentary tea, water and Nespresso. Communication before arrival and during check-in was superb, and self check-in at the residence building went smoothly. They have the entire floor for the BB. There’s an elevator, so you don’t have to haul your luggage up.
