Dolomiti house

The host was kind, and I had a comfortable stay. I loved how spacious and clean it was, along with the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The animals were a treat too. One morning a fox came into the garden to eat, and it was so cute! The town itself is quiet and feels like a small Italian town. People we passed greeted us warmly. There's a lovely restaurant about a 10-minute walk away that I recommend for dinner. A supermarket is near the house, though it has limited opening hours. Breakfast is arranged by asking the owner for a time the day before. They leave a basket of breakfast items outside your door. The location is convenient for enjoying nature. It's about a 30-minute drive from the center of Cortina d'Ambezzo, though it didn't feel far. Quite a few buses run, so it seems possible to commute to Cortina d'Ambezzo. The house is in the middle of a small town, near a church, post office, and bus stop. Inside, there are pop art paintings, a portrait of Yoko Ono, elephants, and Buddha statues. The owner is from Scandinavia, and her taste shows throughout. It felt like being in someone's home. From the bedroom window, the lush greenery looked like a framed painting. The room was bright and spacious, with a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom, plus plenty of outlets. There were two bathrooms. One had a large shower unit with a head shower, body shower, and hand shower, as well as a large sink. Outside, there's a jacuzzi and sauna, available depending on the length of your stay. We used the jacuzzi, and soaking surrounded by nature was amazing. You can do basic cooking in the kitchen, and seasonings are provided. There was an espresso machine and coffee grounds too. There's no sink, though, so leave dishes outside your door and the owner will wash them. The owner was wonderful, a kind woman who loves nature and animals. She respected our privacy and kept a comfortable distance while doing all she could to meet our needs. Her attention to detail and hospitality were superb. It was an amazing stay, and choosing this accommodation was absolutely the right decision. I could relax completely. High quality for a low price, highly recommended.

Paivi took such good care of us and was very helpful. Her beautiful boxer dog made the stay even more cheerful. The apartment was beautifully furnished and surrounded by greenery, with a kitchenette we could use. Breakfast was fantastic, and having a jacuzzi bath each afternoon was the perfect way to unwind after trekking. You can tell the owner really cares. We were super satisfied!

The owner is so kind and looks after her guests, and the place is kept really well. It's great value for money. The outdoor jacuzzi and Finnish sauna are perfect for relaxing. It is a little out of the way, but if you want some peace and quiet, this is the spot.
