I had a great stay here.

Marco was a genuinely friendly and helpful host, and we made good use of the fantastic pool almost every day during our two weeks here in August. The apartments had what we needed, with just a few small, unimportant shortcomings. We also liked the quiet, pretty setting between Grado and Aquileia, just outside town. Several supermarkets and good restaurants are within a 15-minute drive, and Grado’s beaches are easy to reach by car. The value for money was excellent, and we’d happily stay again if we’re back in the area.

The apartments are practically new, and having a pool for a quick swim before dinner after a day out was a real plus. The place is tucked away but still handy for getting around. Aquileia is 12 minutes away, where you can catch a boat from the river port across the lagoon to Grado. Marco Zorz is a special person to meet and talk with about farming and his life; his knowledge and passion really come through. Definitely recommended, and worth trying.

I’ve stayed at Agriturismo Zorz several times over the past month while traveling for work, since I usually need a place with a kitchen. It’s roomy and comfortable, and the owner has always been kind and helpful. The kitchen is short on some things, though: there aren’t all the utensils you might need, or condiments, an oven, or a dishwasher. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Some furniture shows wear, but it works fine. The mosquito screens and windows could be cleaner, and a few shutters, especially on the French windows, don’t close properly. The countryside setting is peaceful, with fresh air, a well-kept garden, and a short drive to the coast.
