Palazzo Iaquinta - Rooms & Restaurant

I'm reviewing the restaurant.

Monte Cicerale makes a lovely base in the heart of Cilento, tucked among green mountains and characteristic villages. It's a relaxing spot. I only got to stay one night, sadly, and stopped in for Sunday lunch. The meal was excellent and authentic, and the service was impeccable. I also loved the fantastic jacuzzi. From parking and directions to check-in and check-out, the owner was easy to reach and explained everything clearly. Nothing seemed left to chance. The property, spa, food, service, and care with the details all earn a well-deserved five stars. Highly recommended.

The food really stood out, with excellent dishes made from fresh local ingredients. Having a reserved parking space was handy too, and much appreciated. The place is elegant and well cared for, just right for switching off. We had a wonderful stay, and the spa massages can be added on. Mine were deeply relaxing, a real treat for body and mind. Thanks especially to the general manager, who's kind, very helpful, and attentive to what guests need. I'd absolutely come back.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the building itself is gorgeous, with care put into every detail. We felt looked after even before we arrived, with lots of useful messages. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The private spa is small, but peaceful and relaxing. When they realized I'd left something at home, they quickly brought what I needed to the room. We had a delicious dinner at the "L'Arco Vecchio" restaurant, and breakfast at the bar across the street was good. The owner there was very kind. Everything felt top-notch. One small suggestion: a coffee machine and kettle for herbal tea would be a welcome extra, either in the common area or in rooms where that makes sense. I'd come back for another stay.
