Hotel Lincoln

A perfect hotel.

The price felt fair for the service, and I had a great time. The hotel has recently been renovated and was very clean and tidy. Staff were consistently courteous and helpful, and breakfast had everything.

The second room was perhaps even dirtier than the first. There was hair and dust around, the shower barely worked, towels were missing, and the toilet paper was half used, with the spare roll nearly empty. Dust and dirt were everywhere. The refrigerator was hot and unplugged, and we couldn't plug it in because there was no adapter. The electrical outlets were broken and malfunctioning. I attached a photo showing the mess under the bed. We had booked a triple room with a double bed and a single bed, but due to an internal mix-up we got a room with three single beds, which was meant to be changed the next morning. That first room was dirty too, with pubic hair on the bathroom floor, in the toilet, and elsewhere in the room, and dust on and under the furniture. We reported it when handing in the keys to change rooms. Not going back.

Every stay has been a disappointment because of the cleaning lady. She shows up at 6:30 a.m., does her business with the owner, then comes by again hoping to return at 7, disturbing a whole staircase. She even opens your door to see if you're there, sometimes at 9, though checkout isn't until 11. Never again. It's a three-star place, and I always pay 90 euros as if it were four.
