B&b Villa Bornancini

We booked the whole villa for two nights with 11 of our closest guests, and celebrated in the garden on the second day. Our guests kept telling us how lovely everything looked, and the wedding went beyond what we’d hoped for. The garden was immaculate, with roses and hydrangeas in bloom and freshly cut, even grass. They even sprayed for mosquitoes on the day, which made us feel really looked after. We picked Villa Bornancini for our wedding, and finding it felt like a miracle. We’d only seen greenhouses like that on Pinterest, yet this one was easy to reach and within our budget. We’d thought our venue needs were simple, but it was surprisingly hard to find somewhere with a nice place to gather and an indoor dinner option that wouldn’t mean a dark wine cellar if the weather turned bad. The owners were warm from our first visit, just four months before the wedding, and stayed helpful and quick to respond right up to the day. When another vendor began making things difficult, they stepped in and sorted it out smoothly. The villa is very well cared for, especially given its long history. The owners’ family has had it for over 100 years and clearly takes pride in keeping its original interior and authentic charm. The style may seem a little old-fashioned to some, but that character was exactly what we loved. We can’t recommend Villa Bornancini enough for a special celebration.
