The croissants we did get to share were tasty, and the cappuccino was excellent, but I wouldn't return. We arrived at 5:00 PM for a 3:00 PM check-in and nobody was there; they showed up 20 minutes later, and the welcome felt pretty flat. My room was clean, but when I got into the shower, the water ran out. I was left soapy in there for 20 minutes with no other solution, and there was no shower mat or towels. I asked for bottled water to rinse off. My partner complained about the service, and after a long argument the lady agreed to charge us half, though she suggested changing rooms despite the problem. We ended up late for our evening plans. In the morning she gave us tickets for breakfast at a bar. There were five of us at 9:30 AM, not enough croissants, and the bartender said more would take 25 minutes.

The breakfast is the one thing I'd change, since it's served at a nearby café. Otherwise, this charming B&B sits in the historic center of Cirò Superiore, with a lovely terrace looking over the town and sea. The rooms are modern, simply and tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable, and the bed was really comfortable too. Highly recommend it.

July 24. Great location, but the room was small. I stayed for two nights and the towels and sheets weren't changed; soap, shampoo, and toilet paper weren't replenished either. I only spoke with the owner on the phone, sorry.

For a peaceful break from the daily routine, this is a lovely spot in the old village of Cirò, which feels like going back in time. Mr. Cataldo gave us a warm welcome, and the locals are friendly. The whole building was spotless, from the lobby and stairs to the landings, ramp up to the terrace, bedroom, and bathroom. The terrace has a beautiful sea view across Cirò Marina and the Ionian coast as far as Cariati. Everything is simply and tastefully decorated with a consistent theme. Breakfast is available by ticket at "Tre Colli" bar, pizzeria, and restaurant, at Corso Lilio 2, overlooking Carafa Castle and the Church of San Giovanni Battista. It was delicious.

The nearby lanes are so charming, and from the heart of the village there's a breathtaking view. The place is even lovelier in person, sunny, welcoming, and beautifully kept. Mrs. Maria was so kind and friendly. Breakfast was at the café nearby, with a croissant and cappuccino. Thanks, see you soon! The beach, with all its amenities, is also just a 10-minute drive away.
