Antica Aia Bed and Breakfast

We were so sad to leave. This family-run place is simply magical, and I have no complaints at all. I had to give them the five stars they deserve as soon as we got home. There's so much I could say that I may come back and add more later. You must stay here.

This was the best place I've stayed in Puglia, and it beat the experience I've had at hotels. My partner and I visited in July, and the welcome and care were fantastic. They cleaned our room every day, gave us a helpful introduction to the area, and brought us an amazing breakfast each morning at the time we chose. The building has been beautifully restored and furnished, and the pool was great for cooling off after a day out. It's also a great base, with a short drive to the places you might want to visit. I've been to Puglia three times, and this was my best accommodation experience. You can book direct through their website. One note for anyone navigating with an iPhone GPS: it may say you've arrived too soon. Keep going a little farther down the road, then look for the gated entrance and small sign on the left.

The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the trulli were lovely, clean, and convenient. It's a quiet spot with an ideal location for getting to all the interesting places in the region. A fantastic place to spend a vacation in Puglia.

We've been coming back to Antica Aia for seven years. Between the accommodations, breakfasts, scenery, pool, and location, it feels like a little utopia. Highly recommended.
