The property itself is beautiful and conveniently close to the city center. But it wasn’t the restful stay we’d hoped for: from about 3 a.m. each day, three roosters and a goose made noise nonstop. Their crowing, honking, and calling were very noticeable, and the sound also made it hard to relax by the pool during the day.

The room was lovely, simply but elegantly furnished in a way that I imagine shows off the trullo’s interior. There was everything we needed and plenty of peace and quiet. The small, comfortable pool sits among the olive trees and has a lovely stone shower. The hillside location brings a pleasant breeze, which seems especially useful in summer, and makes a good base for reaching the beautiful Itria Valley towns like Ostuni and Alberobello. I could have stayed for a month!

A charming, beautifully renovated trullo with several rooms, and excellent hospitality. It’s well located near Ostuni, though you need a car to get there. A wonderful place.
