Bomboniera di Cisternino

Parking can be a challenge, but the owners kindly let us use their space. The apartment is just steps from Cisternino’s historic center, a real gem, and the home-made renovation makes smart use of every corner. The cupboards beneath the stairs are especially impressive. Inside there’s an entrance hall, an eat-in kitchen, and two bedrooms on different levels, joined by a staircase but with no doors between them, so it suits families or friends. It’s very clean and has practically everything you’d expect in a lived-in home. The bathroom is a little cramped and limited. We only stayed one night, which was a shame. Definitely recommend it for a longer visit.

Four of us spent a night here while cycling through the Itria Valley. The hosts were very kind and let us keep our bikes inside. Though compact, the apartment makes good use of its space. We had no trouble using the kitchen, bathroom with shower, or handy laundry area with a washing machine. Everything was spotless, with a towel set, sponge, shampoo, and body wash for each guest. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the place felt cool and airy. There was a TV and internet, too. I’d recommend it for a longer stay as well.

Just two minutes from the historic center and all sorts of shops, this apartment is in a prime location. The beds were extremely comfortable, the amenities felt top-notch, and cleanliness was exceptional. The largest room is in the basement; it’s just as beautiful as the others, with vaulted stone ceilings, though perhaps a bit overlooked. Maria and Nino were friendly, kind, and available to sort out any small issues. Mobile reception nearby is poor, but the apartment’s excellent WiFi makes up for it. Parking was the one drawback, though that’s a Cisternino issue rather than a problem with the property. A friendly arrangement with Rosa and Luigi at the neighboring newsstand helped us manage it.
