Clean, quiet, and in splendid, cozy surroundings. Breakfast is a must, and I’ll miss the morning coffee and the olive oil they make. Be sure to take a bottle or two with you when you leave.

The drive to this masseria calls for a GPS, since there are no road signs pointing it out. Maybe that’s meant to give guests more privacy. Once there, you’re surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, dry-stone walls, and prickly pear sculptures, with a real sense of peace and harmony. It’s an authentic place that preserves the spirit of an old masseria. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the friendly staff are happy to suggest ways to discover the area.

The staff are kind, helpful, and attentive, and make you feel right at home. The rooms are welcoming, thoughtfully cared for, and fit naturally into the landscape. I was enchanted by this splendid masseria. The quiet countryside, scents of nature, and slower pace bring an immediate sense of peace and help you forget your stress. A lovely spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy something authentic.

The unpaved road on the way in is the one downside. Otherwise, it’s very well located for sightseeing, close to many important sites. This beautifully restored old farmhouse sits among olive trees, the staff are exceptionally friendly, and breakfast with homemade cakes is delicious.

The staff were discreet but always on hand, kind, and helpful. They gave us lots of ideas for beaches, places to visit, and where to eat. We felt at home, even though we were 750 km away. If we come back to the area, we’ll definitely stay here again! It’s a rustic farmhouse just a few kilometers from the beaches, villages, and sights. After a busy day, coming back to the quiet olive trees and relaxing outdoors was wonderful.
