I Tre Laghi Countryhouse

The balcony chairs were the biggest problem. Their sharp edges kept snagging our clothes, and when we showed the owners the damage, compensation wasn’t mentioned. We had a very nice week, but the condition of things didn’t match how strict the owners were about keeping the place immaculate. The shower screen was in poor repair, the dishwasher kept catching on the adjacent doors and needed realigning, and opening the cupboard door above the microwave repeatedly shifted its fascia.

The villa is huge, with a pool, and worked well for our five couples. It’s arranged as two matching apartments, one downstairs and one upstairs, with thoughtful design, furnishings, and accessories that make the place comfortable and sociable. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A couple of things marred the stay: cleaning before we arrived wasn’t professional, with dust and broken-glass debris on the floor and food grease left on the dining table. Also, the owner and workers were around at different times all day for repairs, maintenance, mowing, and other tasks, which felt intrusive.

The garden was beautifully kept, and the owners were professional and helpful. We rented the whole property for 4 days over Ferragosto with friends. The apartments were clean and had everything we needed, while the exterior was immaculate. We’ll be back!

We celebrated Christmas Eve dinner together in the apartment, and as true Apulians, we didn’t miss home in terms of space or amenities. Letizia and Piero made us feel warmly welcomed, while staying professional and attentive. The property feels like a dream, surrounded by nature and looking out over the lakes, with a real sense of peace and serenity. We stayed upstairs, six adults and our five-year-old daughter. There were three separate bedrooms and every comfort. We promised the owners we’d try to return in summer, so we can enjoy the enchanting pool. See you soon!
