We had a reservation and went with my family this Sunday, 13/06/20. The view is beautiful, it’s near the beach, and the restaurant itself looks lovely. The fish was fresh and cooked okay, but service was a bit poor. Even though we were speaking Italian, our order got mixed up. Luckily, they agreed to cancel some items since it wasn’t our mistake. It took a while for the food to be prepared and served, perhaps because they were full, though they had a large staff. Maybe I’d give them another chance.

The restaurant’s decor is appealing, and it overlooks the beach area. Those are the only positives I can think of. Compared with other local restaurants, the food was below par. We ordered baked sole, pasta with vongole, and steamed spinach, all basic dishes for this area. The pasta was decent, but the sole didn’t even taste like sole, and the spinach was so salty we couldn’t eat it. Service was inattentive and not very friendly or welcoming. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t go back.

We loved it! The seafood was fresh, not frozen, and really tasty. The dishes were made with care and good quality ingredients, the service was friendly, and the price was good value. It opens at 19:30 most nights.

The setting is nice and the food was okay, but we were pretty stunned by the waitress. We can only think it was because we weren’t Italian, but she made a point of reading her phone while handling our bill.
