We stayed the night before our cruise, and it worked perfectly for us. It's a small, pleasant and quiet hotel, with a path down the street to a rocky but private shoreline. They offer paid shuttle rides to and from the airport, including for our 1am arrival, and to and from the port.

The main downside was how far it is from downtown. Still, it's a great place for a pre-cruise stay. Breakfast was okay, and dinner was excellent.

The off-street parking was a plus. I think it's unfair to arrive late at night, or just before midnight, and then be expected to check out at noon the next day or pay extra for a late checkout.

I was sorry to leave and hope to stay here again on my next cruise from Rome. Our group of five came for three nights beforehand, looking for somewhere small, comfortable, quiet, and friendly, and this hotel delivered. My room faced the water, and each morning I watched cruise ships come into port. The staff were remarkably kind from the time we got out of the airport until they dropped us at the ship 72 hours later. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel, especially the incredible pinsas and amazing homemade pastas. Breakfast was very good and relaxed. It was also fun talking with other people about to cruise and comparing our experiences. Big thanks to Alessandro and the staff for making the stay so good.

I didn't feel welcome, and I will never stay there again. The driver was waiting at the airport, but the van was dirty, like it was used for repair work, and had no air conditioning. The ride to the hotel took 45 minutes. The key I was given was for a room that seemed unused for years. It was very dirty, with leftover food in a broken fridge. I went to the front desk several times to ask about the room I'd booked, since this wasn't it. Other people arrived later and were given rooms inside without a problem.
