The rooms were comfortable and clean, and stayed cool even with it around 30c outside. We paid about 40 Euro's per room, and the home-style Italian set menu was excellent. Since I'm vegetarian, the owner even made me some local grilled cheese, which was delicious. He was very friendly and welcoming, and speaks fluent English after living in Edinburgh for several years. I stayed there in 2008 on holiday with my girlfriend at the time. It isn't a luxury hotel, but I had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it. I'd definitely visit again.

We went with our small daughter in August, and they were always ready to take care of whatever she needed. Maria Antonietta's cooking was delicious, so I'm glad we chose half-board and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean and the service impeccable. My husband, my daughter, and I stayed at La Torre, and we'll see you next summer!

The staff were courteous and attentive, and the owner was lovely and friendly!! Dinner was excellent, especially the traditional arrosticini. We had a beautiful vacation and a dream room. I recommend everyone go!!!

We're back from our second stay today, and already planning to return for a third time. The food is the highlight, excellent and varied, and breakfast was top notch with amazing homemade desserts. The hotel is impeccably run, clean, welcoming, and charming. The owner is wonderful and attentive to every need, and the waiters are just as attentive. I'm in love with Civitella and the Hotel La Torre.
