The place has a lot of potential. We only stayed one night, and the property itself was clean, spacious, and pleasant, with secure parking inside the fenced grounds. Breakfast was the letdown: they sent us to a little café nearby, where we only had coffee. Such a pity.

We’ll definitely come back. Casa Ciuffina made a peaceful base for exploring both Gran Sasso and Majella National Parks, and the green grounds and garden have lovely panoramic views. Marzia was a wonderful host, always happy to spoil us a little and share useful tips on places to see. Her staff were very kind and available too. It’s especially handy for motorbike trips or trekking. And Abruzzo is the home of arrosticini!

We loved how quiet the village was, while still having all the amenities, and the house felt just like home thanks to its cleanliness and thoughtful details. It’s fully equipped and independent, with two private gates for cars or motorcycles, a furnished garden for relaxing or grilling, and fruit trees. There was complete silence around us. Marzia, the owner, suggested beautiful itineraries and places to visit, helping us discover an area that’s rich and, thankfully, still untouched. With Maiella and Gran Sasso in the background, it made for a really relaxing holiday. The location also works well for both the sea and the mountains. We’d happily repeat the stay.

Marzia was such a welcoming host, always kind, attentive, and ready to listen to what we needed. The house was clean, air-conditioned, and had a kitchen with all the comforts, plus plenty of space and parking within the property. It’s a great base for visiting Gran Sasso, Maiella, and Voltigno, including Campo Imperatore, Rocca Calascio, and the Tirino River, where canoeing is wonderful. The sea is also reachable in about half an hour. Highly recommended!

Casa Ciuffina is a lovely place to unwind, with all the comforts you need. The lawn welcomes guests and gives everyone room to relax and spend time together. The property is pleasant and well cared for, and the location makes it easy to explore Abruzzo’s many attractions, from Tirino to Campo Imperatore. Have a great holiday!
