Hotel Cles

The food was delicious, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The location works well for getting around, and the air conditioning in the room was really important in this summer heat. Everything was clean, though the small fridge in our room wasn’t working. I would have loved to have it. Definitely recommend.

Hotel Cles will always be our choice in town. The owners, Leonardo and Paolo, made it feel like home and even offered to move my husband to a larger room where I could manage with a wheelchair or walker. I was brought to the hotel for a few days of rest before our flights home, after surgery and a week of PT for a fracture in my left hip. A freak accident had put an end to the trip we’d planned. We’d spent the first week riding bikes through the Dolomites and valleys of vineyards and orchards, visiting quaint towns, enjoying the food and wine, wildflowers and fall leaves, with church bells and cowbells in the background. Then I fell, and an ambulance took me to the hospital Italy. My husband left late that night without dinner or a place to stay, not knowing that this little slice of heaven was only a few blocks away. The historic 1883 Hotel Cles welcomed him with open arms, beautiful lodging, friendly staff, and a great restaurant. The rooms were super clean, close to the charming town square, with pretty views from the windows. There may be other places to stay here, but Hotel Cles is the one we’ll come back to, and it should be yours too.

A bit cheeky that they only let you know breakfast isn’t included when you check out. Maybe it’s in the Groupon small print, but still, watch out.

Right in the city center, with a spacious room and a roomy bathroom with a shower. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Easily the best you can get in Cles.
