Felix House

I booked a room on Sunday for the Saturday after a trade fair, but the fair was called off on Monday morning. I regretted having to cancel and contacted the property right away. I wasn't asking for a free cancellation, but hoped they'd let me cancel with a reduced penalty, since there was still time to offer the room to other guests and, if someone rebooked, avoid a financial loss. I would have kept the room for one day if they'd been honest with me. The property didn't offer free cancellation, which I already considered poor service in 2025. When I asked for check-in details, they sent them quickly but with little patience or courtesy, and absolutely no flexibility. After I requested cancellation, they stopped replying: not on Monday, Tuesday, or any of the days until the booking ended. They ignored my emails and didn't answer the phone. This was unacceptable, rude and completely unprofessional. I wasn't expecting to get out of paying, but I did expect at least a polite response. A waste of money, though at least I didn't stay somewhere like that. I'm very sorry we're still dealing with such limitations in 2025.

We slept in complete silence, though you don't need to worry about getting up, the roosters will handle that! The place is very clean and tidy, with an informal feel and an abundant breakfast. The hosts are very friendly. It's on the outskirts of Voghera, near the vineyard hills, with a beautiful view. I'll come back for my next exam!

With my two dogs, having complete freedom to come and go made this stay perfect. I had a wonderful time and was welcomed so warmly. I also had long, pleasant chats with Mr. Luigi. Rivanazzano and Salice Terme are both wonderful towns, just 5 minutes away by car. I absolutely have to return ❤

The owners are kind and helpful, and breakfast is varied and plentiful. They also have horses, and even just seeing them is lovely. There's an excellent partner restaurant only a stone's throw away, with a real discount: from €33, I paid €25. The property is clearly dated, but everything is very clean and available: TV, air conditioning, and a kettle with tea. The bathroom isn't in the room, but in my case it was private, not shared. It has soap and a proper hair dryer, not a hose. Highly recommended.
