Hotel Garni Ruscel

Mrs. Brigitte was so kind and ready to help with anything. We stayed for a week and had a really good time, with nothing bad to say. Getting around was easy thanks to the bus stops nearby. There are restaurants and pizzerias close by, too. They only serve breakfast, which suited us fine. I'd happily recommend staying here.

We'd gladly return to this beautiful place in the center of Santa Cristina. The rooms are roomy, with lovely views of Sassolungo, and breakfast is generous, made with good quality ingredients. The hostess was welcoming and happy to suggest good restaurants in the area.

I enjoyed chatting with the owner, who serves cappuccino or whatever drink you choose at the table. Breakfast was a treat too, with fruit in syrup, granola, cake, and plenty more. The owner gave us a warm welcome to this "garni." Our Alpine-style room was comfortable, with a spectacular view of the frozen waterfall, which was already melting at that time of year. We'd love to come back.

This is a friendly, welcoming family-run B&B with fair prices, good breakfast, and clean rooms. It’s handy for the centers of both Selva and Ortisei, even on foot, though it takes 15-20 minutes. The only downside for us was the bed, which was noisy and uncomfortable. It was still manageable, even if it wasn’t like the one at home.
