We arrived in the middle of the night to ask about a room, and right away a lovely woman spoke to us through the outside speaker. Her English wasn’t fluent, but she was patient and did her best to answer our questions. Her son then helped us in perfect English, making everything easy. Julia’s son was especially attentive and friendly, and everyone we met was welcoming and kind. You can feel that this is a family-run hotel. The hotel and our room were spotless. The bed was spacious and comfortable, with great pillows, and we slept very well. We felt looked after throughout our stay and had a lovely experience. I’d definitely recommend it and would return.

The hotel was super clean, and that was a real plus. Breakfast was very simple, just bread, toast, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. But the rooms are badly outdated, with 1980s decor and beds that were hard, cheap-feeling, and possibly over 30 years old. I don’t think I’ve slept in worse beds. The service was poor too. The hostess was rude and seemed to serve Italian-speaking guests only. For the same price, you can find much better quality nearby. I wouldn’t recommend it, and I’m sure a little more searching online will turn up a better-value option just around the corner.

The owners are happy to suggest things to do and places to visit, and the staff are kind. It’s a lovely family-run hotel where you feel at home. We’ll come back here when we visit Cogne again.

A good hotel, though a little expensive for what they offer. Still, it was good.
