We booked just 2 hours before arriving in the middle of the night, and they still had a few beautiful rooms available. Being able to check in so late was great. The rooms look even better in person than online, and they were very clean. The views are amazing, the location is perfect, and the staff are super friendly.

The apartment has a lovely mountain view and was just right for 2 people and a tiny dog, though it would be really cozy with 4. We went in October 2018, when most nearby places, including restaurants and cable cars, were closed until December. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the village and the surrounding area, with hikes and a ski slope about 5 minutes away on foot in winter. It has nice wooden details and is well decorated. The kitchen is equipped for basic needs, and the mattress was pretty hard, which suited me. Guests can use a sauna, steam cabin, and infrared cabin on the 1st floor. There's also a lift and a bar/restaurant in the building. Bringing my small dog was no problem, but it cost 8€ per night. The people at the desk were really friendly and could suggest things to see and do. The main spoken languages are German and Italian.

Colfosco is a great base for exploring the Dolomites. We had a tidy, pleasant apartment and a warm welcome, with good service from Sara and Joel. The rooms were well equipped, and linen and towels were included. The wellness area was nice: the sauna and steam bath were free to use, while the spa baths had an extra charge.

Parking was great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's an easy walk to skiing, and the restaurant was great for apres ski, aperitivo, and dinner. A bonus was the three friendly frenchies (bulldogs) there to greet you.
