The mountain area is beautiful, and this is a good base for summer day trips. The apartment is very nice, with daily bread delivery and free Wi-Fi. Some things, like the kitchen in our unit, are a bit dated, though the bathroom is very new and luxurious, so it seems like things are being updated. Just keep in mind the area is mainly focused on hiking and has fewer facilities than, for example, Austria.

It’s easy to walk to the slopes in ski boots, about 150 meters down the hill. The house has a large heated ski room and a separate heated room for boots, plus a big parking lot. Fresh bread can be delivered to the apartment door each morning around 7:00 AM, and there are nearby restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, and communication in English was easy. We stayed five people in apartment no. 6, which had two separate bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a toilet. The double bedroom had its own bathroom and toilet. The rooms were spacious, with two large balconies and beautiful views over the center of Alta Badia. The kitchen was well equipped, the towels were good quality, and the Wi-Fi was fast and free. A great skiing spot in Alta Badia, highly recommended.

We had a relaxing ski holiday here, with the Alta Badia ski area within walking distance. The view was fantastic, and the apartment was nice, with a new bathroom and a very practical dishwasher. The landlords were friendly and accommodating.

I’m never coming back. We arrived so excited to explore the Dolomites, but the man at reception turned the trip into a nightmare. There were four adults and my friends’ baby staying with us. The 14-year-old children were at the campsite with my friend’s parents and other school families. The man insisted they had to sleep with us, even though they only came back after each hike to plan the next one and talk to the other families, because my friend knew the area best. He even stayed up all night checking whether the children were sleeping there. We used the same towels for five days, and there was nothing for personal hygiene or cleaning the apartment. Communication was impossible because he didn’t speak English, and his attitude was arrogant and unfriendly. He completely ruined our vacation and isn’t fit for that job. I’m not going back there, not a chance.
