We really enjoyed eating here. The veranda has a lovely view of the lake, and the set menu of the day was great value for the money. The staff were charming.

The hosts were so accommodating, and the service was fantastic. We also ate really good food at the restaurant. On our visit to Colico, this was easily our best stay, with a wonderful lake view and a boat rental nearby.

I arrived at 1:30 a.m. and was still met by someone friendly and helpful. That kind of welcome carried on through the whole trip. The owners are so sweet and big-hearted. Best service ever ;)

Everything is within walking distance, and the hotel is in a great spot with nice staff. Breakfast comes with the stay and has a good selection. There’s no lunch or dinner service, though. The little spa has just a sauna and steam room. A good fit for a couple of nights.

We stayed two lovely nights in room 308, which looked out over the lake. It was spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The buffet breakfast was lovely, and the staff were polite and attentive. The hotel is also handily placed near the ferry terminal, with bars and restaurants close by. Hotel Risi is a beautiful traditional Italian hotel, and its rooms and decor have exactly the feel I’d want when visiting Italy. If you’re after something modern, plain, and high-tech, go to the beach or into the city. On the banks of Lake Como, Hotel Risi makes you feel you’re somewhere special. Please don’t change a thing.
