Veronica at reception was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable, and restaurants are an easy walk away. It's a lovely hotel with good facilities. The room temperature was the problem. We chose a hotel with air conditioning because we need a cool room, but when we asked, we were told it was too early in the year to turn it on. It was the end of April, with lovely weather around 25 degrees outside, and the room stayed about that warm overnight. There were no windows, just a patio door, so we couldn't leave it open while sleeping. One night I felt really ill from the heat.

The view from our room is one I'll never forget, and Colico is a beautiful town. Everyone made us feel welcome at this gorgeous hotel. After a long day of travel, Veronica and Lavinia greeted us with warm smiles. They helped us find our way around and suggested places to eat, so we were always glad to see them again.

We couldn't arrive on our scheduled date because of illness, and we provided a valid medical certificate. We weren't asking for a refund, only whether we could move the reservation to other available dates given the exceptional circumstances. Our lawyer sent a formal email for us, but nobody replied or even got in touch. I work in this industry too, and I find that highly unprofessional. The total lack of basic communication left us with a very disappointing impression of the service.

We got engaged just before our stay at Seven Park Hotel, and I arranged some of the optional romantic extras for the room before we arrived. The staff I spoke with were brilliant and helped make it a magical time for my partner and me. We had an amazing stay.

The front desk staff were wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the poolside cocktails. There was lots of room around the smaller pool for hotel members. The larger pool is open to non-guests too, so it tends to be busier. Dogs are allowed here, so expect to hear barking and to see them sitting in the dining areas.
