The owner was easy to talk to and a cool guy, but our evening check-in was inefficient. There was an issue with the booking, so he had to work out the calculations manually. We hadn't understood that the breakfast option was completely do-it-yourself, with no buffet. You'll need to get fresh bread yourself. The rooms were clean, but we missed some toiletries and extra towels.

Angelo is sweet and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. Just be aware that it's in the middle of nowhere. Bring basics like coffee, tea and sugar, or plan to get everything at the supermarket.

It was cozy, though quite old. Kids screamed during the day, but it was quiet at night. I'd recommend it if you don't mind the screaming!

An unusual, rustic place, with a helpful and friendly concierge. It could use some updating, and a fan or two would be useful.

Lovely host, good rooms and a fair price.
