Residence Lake Como

We had a very good stay at Residence Lake Como. The apartment was clean and spacious, and the location is handy for restaurants, shops, and other places. Finding the entrance can feel a little awkward the first time, though it’s fine once you know the way. Some staff aren’t fluent in English, but they do their best and communication wasn’t really a problem. The residence is about 10 meters from a railway line. There were track works during our stay and no trains were running, but trains passing every hour could make poolside relaxation less peaceful. The fitness area is also a bit of a “pain cave”, down in the basement with a very musty smell.

We were a family of 5, and the accommodation worked perfectly for us. It’s a stone’s throw from the lake, restaurants, and cafes, and there’s private, secure parking too. The staff were lovely, and the shared areas, including the pool, loungers, and seating, were very, very clean. We had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment.

We really liked the room, the area, and the place overall. The room for two had a sleeping couch, but it was noisy and really uncomfortable to sleep on. I wish the owner would replace it with a regular bed. The room and everything else were top notch.

Eleonora was brilliant and ready to help with anything, and the staff were amazing. We had great service in a fantastic location. The modern apartments are secure, massive, and very well equipped. The beds were super comfy, the power showers amazing, and the Wi-Fi great. There’s also a nice swimming pool and sauna. For me, this is the best place to stay in Colico.
