We found this place by chance while heading to Florence, and it was even better than we expected. The peaceful setting was a welcome break from the city, and the views were breathtaking. Everyone on staff was so welcoming and accommodating. We'd come back in a heartbeat and would happily recommend it to friends.

Dinner was great, the wine list was good, and the service was perfect. The location is amazing for watching the sunset. A very loud dog just outside the hotel wall barked the whole time we were there, which spoiled the evening somewhat. It wasn't the owners' fault, but otherwise it would have been a perfect dinner.

We had a very good meal at the restaurant, with excellent local wines and an entertaining staff. The menu isn't especially long. The borgo is secluded but close to Perugia and Assisi, making it a great place to relax. The staff are kind and attentive, and everything, including the pool, is clean and well maintained. The pool's view is incredible. We enjoyed it enough to want to stay longer.

This place is a gem, a romantic little castle-town with a breathtaking view and excellent staff. It's too isolated to walk to a cafe, but the first-class restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You're also close enough for day trips to Todi, Perugia, or a winery. There are two pools to choose from, plus a day spa at reasonable prices. We didn't have time to book a treatment.

The old medieval town is a special, amazing setting, with rooms spread across different buildings. The rooms aren't modern, and could use a refresh, though they were okay and had AC. What let the stay down was the service at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was terrible, with poor quality food and very little choice, nowhere near what I'd expect at a 4 star hotel. There weren't enough staff, and both meals were chaotic. At breakfast the place was dirty and there was no table service. The service needs an immediate upgrade, and the experience was so disappointing that I wouldn't recommend staying here.
