The room was clean, though a bit chilly. The staff were warm and attentive, and it felt like good value. A nice family-friendly place.

The pizza was pretty good, and the location was convenient, but service was painfully slow. The bill issue really soured the visit: they charged us for lemonades without giving us a bill. There was no drink list either. When we asked for one, they said they didn't have it. It left me wondering if this was their usual way of doing things, and I didn't expect that kind of experience in this part of Italy. I suspect not issuing a bill may also be against local law. Their problem.

We'd just stopped in for a meal, and the food was excellent. The dessert portions were enormous too. Definitely recommended.
