Casa Marina

It’s a nice spot to relax with coffee, and the bar waitresses are great. But the woman behind the counter was mean. A smile for customers shouldn’t depend on whether they’re black or white. I brought in a jacket a child had left on the lawn near the observation hut, and she told me to leave it outside without even hearing me out. Such a shame.

Great location. It was closed when I visited, but I’d look into staying there.

After our hike, we stopped at the bar for a snack. The platter was generous and good value, and they had some very good beers. Alice, who served us, was helpful throughout and even brought our dog a bowl of water. A really positive stop :)

The Euganean Amateur Astronomers' Association holds conferences here about once a month, mostly on astronomy. Its president, Dr. Carlo Vinante, presides over the meetings. At the end, members sometimes let participants look at the sky through their own telescopes. It’s an opportunity you shouldn’t miss!
