We only found this place by chance, but now we make a point of stopping whenever we’re in the area. The interior and setting are lovely, and the food is a real treat, from the starters right through to dessert. There’s also plenty to choose from if you don’t eat meat or fish. If you can spare a day or two, the spa is worth booking, or better yet, stay at the hotel. Just gorgeous.

Lunch at Cappuccini Resort was really good, with refined dishes and flavors that worked well together. The hilltop setting in the middle of Franciacorta is lovely, and the resort has a distinctive feel since many rooms are carved into the rocks. The room for my work event was one of them, with a balcony on the mountainside and a view over the countryside below. Definitely a nice place to spend the day.

We changed the venue in June after prices kept going up and the whole process became extremely frustrating. We paid the deposit right away, then waited five months for a contract that never arrived, despite asking repeatedly. At the menu tasting, we found that the offer didn’t include even one Franciacorta wine, despite the venue being in the region. It took two months to agree on swapping in a bottle, and our wedding planner had to find another winery and arrange delivery. The Cappuccini owner then charged us an extra 5EUR per bottle for the exchange. Emails went unanswered, and if the owner disliked something during a call, she would hang up and then not respond for weeks. The attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. We booked this for our wedding party, and the deposit had to be paid “yesterday”. These people shouldn’t be in hospitality. Book here if you want your event to become a nightmare.

The spa centre was excellent, with high-class service and a lovely atmosphere. Great for relaxing and beauty treatments. I’d recommend it, super!
