I arrived around 4 PM, right on time, after booking more than a month earlier, and was told there was no booking under my name. I showed the confirmation page and the email sent 48 hours before with online check-in instructions, which I'd completed promptly. They took my money but gave me no room, and left me stranded in Comiso with few options and no help finding somewhere at the last minute. The management was horrific, and the hotel felt disorganized and nasty. I wouldn't book here, especially as an American or tourist looking for a good time. There were several homeless people hanging around outside, and honestly, staying on the street might have been just as good.

We had a lovely week here in August 2024 and might come back. The staff were very nice, and our room was clean, modern and well maintained, with a TV, mini fridge, air conditioning and a great shower. A kettle would have been a big plus. Breakfast was okay, with really nice pastries and juice, but I didn't care for the bacon and scrambled eggs that were sometimes served cold after being precooked. I'd have liked more options, such as fried or boiled eggs. Maybe they could be made to order, but nobody asked me. We ate dinner at the hotel one evening, though the staff didn't seem ready for it. When we arrived the restaurant had no lights or music, and there was a bit of a rush to set it up. The food was okay, but the kitchen also seemed unprepared. Parking took some effort, though we eventually found a spot about 100m away.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location was good. The receptionist was really nice.

Breakfast was meager, and there was no bar or restaurant. The rooms were large, but dirty and worn, and the bed mattress felt saggy. There wasn't any soap or shampoo in the room. This felt like a one or two star hotel, certainly not four stars.
