We got a large bottle of water and fresh fruit when we arrived. The room and bathroom were very clean, well equipped, and the bed was quite large. There’s no AC, but the fan worked well. A train station is right in front of the building, which is handy without a car, though you can hear some noise. It didn’t bother us. Easy to find, with free street parking out front, and very good value for the price.

We enjoyed the host’s restaurant suggestions and activity tips, especially dinner at "Napule e' Fratelli Coppola - Dottesio". The host was exceedingly friendly. There was no breakfast in our price, but the room had a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities, with a fridge in the shared area. The room was clean and very good, with beautiful mountain views and a modern, spotless bathroom. It’s on the third floor, but there’s a lift. The train station is nearby, and the lake is five minutes away or a 20-30 minute walk. WiFi was usable, though nothing special. No AC, but fans and window shutters helped with airflow while blocking the light. A lovely stay.

We were upgraded to a perfect room, and Gabriella was a very friendly, helpful owner. It’s in a less touristy part of Como, which suited us better. Nice touches included water and fruit, and it was useful to have a kettle and microwave.

The location beside Borghi Station was really convenient, with Lake Como ferries and local places to eat just a short walk away. Gabriella looked after us very well. The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was great.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was tasty. It’s very close to the train station, and the private bathroom has a washing machine.
