Hilton Lake Como

The rooftop views over the surrounding area are stunning, though the pool closes pretty early, around 6pm. We spent two nights here in June. The property was great, service excellent, and the price seemed decent for the location. The only real drawback was being a bit far from the town center, so we needed a car.

We ate at Terrazza 241 both nights and had a lake-view table each time. The food and service were excellent. Breakfast at Satin was great, and we also had a couple of pizzas outside at Streetfood. The hotel was exceptional, the staff very courteous, and the whole experience was amazing.

I spend over 150 nights a year in hotels, and this one is easily at the top of my list. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the service made an already beautiful, clean, luxurious resort style hotel even better. It went beyond what I expect across the board. The location was great too. From the train station and ferry boats, it's about a 25 minute walk or a taxi ride of less than 10 minutes for 10-15 euros. Honestly, probably the best hotel experience I've ever had, coming from someone who spends about half their time in hotels.

We were traveling with our two year old, and the hotel staff went out of their way to include her. They even left a coloring book, a lovely touch. The concierge team was helpful before we arrived, arranging airport transport and restaurant bookings and making sure a crib was in the room. Thanks especially to Francesco and Valentino for making it all smooth and stress free. The whole team was warm and welcoming during our three nights at Hilton Lake Como. It's just outside Como's busy center, so it's peaceful, but the ferry and good restaurants are still an easy walk away. Highly recommend for families visiting Lake Como.
