The staff were fantastic, always welcoming, attentive and ready to help. Special thanks to Filippo and Silvano for their kindness. Villa Platamone has the atmosphere and character of a beautifully preserved 1800s villa, while still being very comfortable. It made for a unique and memorable stay. Highly recommended if you're looking for something different.

We stayed at Villa Platamone for my sister's wedding, and it was the perfect base for our time at beautiful Lake Como. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well-appointed, and you could see how much pride and care had gone into preserving the villa. The staff were incredible, with lovely breakfasts every morning and wine at night. Their warm hospitality and can-do attitude made us feel like part of the family. Huge thanks to Silvano and everyone for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. We can't wait to return.

I've traveled a lot around the world, and this was an excellent experience. The villa is charming, refined and beautiful, and the bedroom was very comfortable to sleep in. The people working there were all so nice, always available to answer questions and give recommendations for visiting Como. I had an issue paying by credit card when I booked, and my reservation was cancelled by booking. I contacted Villa directly, and they helped me rebook my stay. The breakfast was delicious, and we could eat it in the garden. It's a wonderful place with good value for the price for a stay at Lake Como. I really recommend trying this villa in Como!

The hosts made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, giving the stay a warm, personal feel. Our Presidential Suite at Villa Platamone was beautifully decorated with elegant furnishings and striking artwork. The statues and décor throughout the villa added to its luxurious, unique atmosphere, with lots of attention to detail. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully. We would have liked the pool to be heated, but that didn't take away from an amazing experience. It's a true gem, and we can't wait to return.
